    Description

    This unique piece of African art is hand-painted, hand-blocked and hand-woven. Originally from Abuja, Nigeria, the fabric appears to be waxed, 100% cotton making it a bit heavy and weighing slightly over half a pound. Each painted square is unique--no two squares are alike--it is a piece of art!
    This artwork  is suitable for framing.  The colors are earthy tones of amber, brown, orange and burnt red. Unfortunately the beauty of the colors are not entirely visible from the pictures.
    The pictures gently tell the story of rural life in West Africa. This piece came from Nigeria.
