Vintage African beaded banner, hand made by the Yoruba People of Nigeria, white glass beads and cowry shells on fabric, ancestor faces and elephants, there is a beaded loop at the top for hanging, a diviner's hanging panel, could also be worn as a ceremonial garment, the collector I bought this from remembers buying it some 20 years ago, and it may not have been new then, minor bead loss, some soiling, not perfectly straight, approximate size is 67 inches x 6 inches, #11749
