Amazing Vintage Paper Mache "MEDUSA" Mexico D.F. Greek Mythology

Description

This amazing vintage paper mache MEDUSA is in excellent condition. Colors are vibrant, and there are no breaks, rips, tears, looseness or repairs. The bow, string and arrow are metal. The artist is written underside: llerena Martignoar Mexico D.F.
I've attempted to find information on this artist but have had no success.
The details on "Medusa" are wonderful and I've not seen any other "like" interpretation in this medium of the snake-haired Gorgon. If you are a collector of paper mache, and/or an admirer of Greek mythology, this "Medusa" would certainly be quite an addition to an existing collection or the beginning of a new one!
Figure approx. 11 3/4" in height to top of bow. "Medusa" approx. 10" height to top of highest snake. Approx. 10 inches in length from front to farthest curl of tail.
