    Description

Antique Minton china oval shape sugar bowl in the "Clifton" or similar "White Fife" fluted pattern.  "Clifton" pieces all had gold trim and "White Fife" pieces generally did not except for maybe some handles.  This sugar bowl's handles and lid top handle are all gold trim.  Measures about 3.5" tall and 3-1/4" wide x 4" long on bottom.  The marking on the bottom dates this piece 1912-1950.  In very good useable condition with a few small chips to the inside rim of the bowl and the lid.  The lid china clay shows thru the thin white glaze on the top fluted ridges but I think it was originally fired that way and not from wear as it is smooth.  From an antique dealer's estate in NH.
SALES/USE TAX NOTE:  As of October 1, 2019, eBay will collect sales or use tax on applicable transactions for buyers in most states, such as Arizona, California, Colorado, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and so on. The applicable sales tax based on buyer's address will be added to your invoice to pay in eBay.  Some states require the sales tax to apply to the shipping and handling and some do not (i.e., Massachusetts).  For other states,  I am based in California and sometimes sell items located in Massachusetts and my eBay sales do not require a sales tax to be collected as my total yearly sales are below those state's minimum requirements for either total dollars or number of transactions for a "remote seller".  I am re-selling items collected by myself and family over many years and not buying new inventory to make a profit.  eBay should not be charging the buyer a sales or use tax for those states not requiring a sales or use tax.  Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon have no sales or use taxes at all.   But states update their laws at any time,  so please be aware.
