I am pleased to offer from a private estate this lovely antique Mintons fine china reticulated plate.
Mintons fine porcelain plate. Dating from around 1891 it is amazing how this plate has survived in such good condition, the hand painted central florals and foliate sprays are as fresh as the day they were painted on a white ground
with celeste blue reticulated detailed rim
all surrounded by some of the best gilding work you will find, very few factories produced such a high standard of work at this time as the Mintons factory. The pattern number is painted on the reverse and is 88000- reference. The porcelain is beautifully potted and is a joy to handle, intricate and delicately fluted
.
Mintons porcelain pieces have become synonymous with high quality and craftsmanship
and are eagerly sought by porcelain collectors.

The original finish is in very good overall condition for 100 plus years however please do view the photos because naturally you are the final judge.
This plate has some minor characteristic underglaze crazing and few tiny areas of blue loss and a small potters crease, all shown in photos, not really offensive when displayed, if your examining the plate with magnifiers you will find such..

Aesthetics are subjective, I am an antique collector so I have no problem with a chip or bruise when I find something I really like, realizing that it is 100 years old I am just grateful to have such pieces, please read and view all photos and understand that wear, such as patina/blemishes/pitting, etc on a 100 year old item / lamp / lamp shade is to be expected.

Items were not perfect when produced. Quality control was not a factor in the 1800s or early 1900s.
These items are antiques and collectables and show signs of wear and use as you would expect to find from usage. My 14 day return policy only applies to items that have significant, sizable, meaningful and blairing issues of condition that I failed to disclose in my ad. Superficial wear of blemishes incurred over a long period of time, which one would be expected to find does not meet the conditions of the return policy.  Please review photos for a determination of condition also.
Buy purchasing this item you understand and acknowledge that a 100 year old antique item such as this will have wear and other issues, they are far too difficult, costly and time consuming to pack. I never charge for packing materials or for my time for packing (which is considerable when packing antique lamps & china).

Please remember also that glass from the American Brilliant Period is that, it is of the late 1800's to
early 1900's, and would show light signs of use as you would want to find, consistent with age.
