I just received a shipment from Guerrero with lots of wonderful pieces... This piece is
similar to the
Coconut figures i've been listing. But
instead
of a head made from a coconut this one is a Carved Wood Horse Head on a
hand painted
Canvas body.  It
has been made to look like an Old piece, but is newly made.
The head has been hand carved from wood and then
matte finish pigments are hand painted giving this piece an
Antique appearance.
There is a
hole at the top of his head
so you can string some twine and hang it on the wall.  It is lots of fun and quite whimsical.
Perfect for the Horse Lover or a nice
addition
to your Mexican Folk Art Collection....
He measures;  16 inches tall by 9 inches wide and 3 1/2 deep.
