Very large: 168" x 54" (14' x 4.5')
Guaranteed absolutely genuine. Not a newly made piece!
I personally purchased
this textile while in the
countries of
Mali and the Ivory Coast
on a trip in 1988 with an
Art History group
from
Parsons
School of Design
located in
New York City.
WOVEN BY HAND ON RIBBON LOOM. Extremely good
condition. No stains. No tears or rips. No holes. Guaranteed authentic.
Too large to photograph in one picture. Pictures show only
portion of cloth but are representative of entire piece.
Some strips may appear with a small area of brown tinge. This is due
to the actual coloration of the thread used in weaving in this area.
This
piece is in the exact condition as when I purchased it in 1988
in the Ivory Coast. Stored since purchase in my home.
