    Description

    Extra large, blanket size, 48” x 76” + 3” finge, vintage, handwoven cotton and dyed African indigo fabric, made by the Mossi in Burkina Faso. Mossi indigos are highly collectible because of their fine, tight weaving, and I have many to sell, but this is the first time I have had a chance to buy a group of large ones that includes this beauty. Instead of the normal solid indigo colors, this piece has a wonderful, subtle, and unique “criss-cross” pattern.
    Heavier weight; 11 hand woven cotton strips; excellent condition, including the braided fringe at both ends: clean, no holes, spots, or damage; seam tight.
    Don’t pass this one up is you are looking for a good coverlet, blanket, throw!!
