    Description

Presented today is this brilliantly decorated Huichol Jaguar head, consisting of tiny commercial beads
    and
carved copal wood. The snarling jaguar is 6 inches tall and 8 inches long. It is signed by Pedro Castillo, with the signature repeated in the native Huichol written language. It is a gorgeous piece  with only very minor bead loss on the lower fangs. Because of their isolation, and their lands lack of silver gold or oil, the Huichol have survived with more of their native culture intact than probably any other culture in Mexico. The incredible designs on their crafts are based on tribal symbolism sand artforms that are centuries old. This piece is a great example of their work. Authenticity is guaranteed. Buy with confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price, including return shipping. This piece will surely stand out in any Indian Art collection. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best Regards, Rich
