This is a lovely
pair of earrings is based on the Mexican Party Banners called Papel Picado.
The cut out design says "Mia Mexico" or My Mexico...
They are made of
Sterling Silver with mixed gemstone beads at the bottom.  They would make a great gift for those who love Mexican Culture!!!

sterling silver shepherd hooks

inches long (from top of the hook to bottom of the beads) & 1 inch wide.
These earrings are brand new and were made by Gabriela Sanchez.
"Gabriela is married with two children and living in Guadalajara, Jalisco. She has worked as a jewelry artist for the last 13 years, and belongs to the third generation of a family of jewelers.
She considers her work "a family affair" where they all work together.
Her jewelry is inspired by the richness of Mexico - toys, agave cactus, folk art such as árboles de la vida (trees of life) - her themes are unique to other jewelers.
Gabriela studied design in Madrid, Spain, Taxco, Guerrero, and in Guadalajara. She has won several first place awards and in 2010, she won first place at ENART. However, she is very proud to have been invited to display her jewelry in the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, where she was invited to develop a collection inspired by the Palace."
