Georges Lakhovsky, a bioelectrical researcher in the early 20th century demonstrated that living cells emit and receive electromagnetic radiations at their own resonant frequencies. He demonstrated that health was determined by the relative strength of these cellular oscillations. Bacteria, cancers and other pathogens corrupt them, causing interference with these oscillations. He called this situation "war of oscillations".
Lakhovsky showed that cells of the body could be charged up by applying broadband electrical noise to them. He theorised that if you subjected the body to a broad range of electromagnetic harmonics that some of the harmonics would "charge up" some cells and others would charge up other cells. If Lakhovsky knew about transmembrane potential then he would be even more sure about his theory. "Charging up" of cells means hyperpolarising them. If you hyperpolarise a cell, then you refuel its ATP supply by driving the sodium/potassium pump in reverse.
