    Description

    Stunning piece!
Representing Our Lady of Zapopan, this statue is completely made by truly Mexican artisans. Preserving the antique technique of burnished clay pottery, this statue was made by hand detail per detail.
It takes around 3 to 4 weeks on make one.
This representation of Virgin Mary is considered the main advocation for the city of Guadalajara, Mexico, one of the main cities in the country. On this design in particular she is shown as pilgrim. It is a tradition in Guadalajara that the Virgin visits each Church of the city during the year and that's how She is dressed, with a hat instead of a crown, because she is on the road visiting all believers and non believers. On October 12 her festivity takes place and she finally arrives to her main church: The Basilica of Zapopan.
    Measures: 40 cm height (15.7'') x 32 cm (12.59'') x 15 cm (5.9'')
