Elfego Gallegos que al regresar de dura jornada de trabajo descubrio a su esposa en el lecho conyugal con su mejor amigo, y su esposo lo confonto diciendole que si queria el divorcio le diera la mitad de sus propiedades a lo que el no se opuso  y en esta situación desidio suicidarse ,pero al ver la virgen de Guadalupe se arrepintio , dando gracias,  ofrenda esté retablo en Jalapa Veracruz. 16 de agosto de 1949.
