    Description

This is a 6 1/2 by 4 1/4 inch handwritten card from Alaska Senator Ted Stevens. The first sentence indicates this is a personal correspondence. The Senator is responding to correspondence from "Larry" on what was a "Nice, nostalgic note." The Senator then writes the rest of the note about the national debt.
The card is in perfect condition. The mailing envelope kept the card well protected.
As full discloser, Larry Brandt is/was my father and he working in Alaska, the Senator's State, beginning in 1949 and I am sure he and the Senator were acquainted. I don't have a copy of the letter he sent to the Senator.
