    Description

    Vintage handwoven cotton and dyed African indigo fabric, made in Burkina Faso. Textiles are dyed with the resist, stitch dyeing technique and each piece of indigo is unique. This one has a great pattern of lines and dots arranged in a nice overall abstract design with triangles, zig-zag lines, and parallelograms.
    48” x 60”, 5 medium weight strips; both ends hand hemmed.
    Excellent condition: I see no major damage or holes.
    I was lucky to have “first choice” of several large containers of indigos, as they arrived directly from Africa, and have many that I will be selling. I picked ones that were in the best condition, and/or the most unique, but there are almost always a few flaws, which I will note in my listings and photographs.
